After the Taj, we took the air conditioned bus to Agra
Fort. This fort was an
adventure waiting to happen with its secret
rooms, tunnels, and
passageways.
I really want to look more into the history behind it. I
want to know what the red walls would say if they could talk.
The fort had a system of fountains, and I took pictures of one the many systems.
The water fell down here...
Fell into a pool at the bottom...
The pool led to an opening under the walkway...
Four sources of water came together and led to the main fountain.
There was a spectacular view of the Taj from Agra. I took so many pictures
that my camera died.
There were many exquisite gardens around the fort.
The beauty of the fort greatly surpassed the Taj itself.
